Micropigmentation procedure consists of three stages:

1. Consultation

During the consultation I necessarily answer all the questions you will be interested in. Together we will choose the pattern form and the color of the selected dye, as well as perform an allergy test. The mentioned test has nothing to do with the „harmful” pigment nature, but it shows a serious professional approach to the whole precedure. It is known that allergy is one of the common diseases worldwide, that can be caused by even innocuous substances. This makes the allergy test a binding necessity, which will secure you from possible nuisances.

2.Primary procedure
On the scheduled day, the client comes to the salon. They sign an informed consent form and a consent form for the storage of personal data (as required by law).
Then the procedure itself begins: the specialist cleans the treatment area and draws a preliminary sketch with a pencil. After the client approves the sketch, we proceed with the procedure, first applying an anesthetic cream. During the procedure, the specialist applies additional anesthetic as needed. Once the work is completed, the specialist cleans the area again, applies a healing cream, and provides aftercare instructions.

3.Retouch
Sometimes the result of the procedure may be satisfactory even after the first time, but in the majority of cases an adjustment retouch should be done. Retouch is made not less that a month after the primary procedure took place. The conditions of the process are similar to those of the primary procedure. During the retouch it is possible to fractionally change the tint or intensity of the color, according to customers desires.

The following renovations of the color and form clarity are recommended to be done after 12 or 24 months. After several years has passed there is a possibility to newly correct the face features and create eyes, eyebrows or lips visual lifting.

Even though micropigmentation is referred to those procedures of decorative effect, during its conduction the upper layer (protective layer) of the skin is being disturbed and damaged. Thus, it is important to comprehend and acknowledge all possible risks and contraindications. The latter can be divided into three categories:

1. Absolute contraindications:

Allergic reaction to a selected dye, structural modifications of the skin layer in the given plot (new formations, keloid scars, warts, melanomas, psoriasis, chloasma, nevus, skin cancer).

1. Temporary contraindications:

Menstruation, conjunctivitis, immunity instability, pregnancy, breast feeding, esthetic infiltrations and plastic surgeries performed less than six months ago, local infections, unregulated scars, other skin damages in the zone of alleged micropigmentation (local dermatitis, bruises, solar or any other burns, etc.), herpes rashes on the lips. During the procedure of lips micropigmentation, people who appear to be the carriers of the Herpes virus, for the prophylactic purpose should be administered to take the anti-herpes medication for five whole days (including the day of the procedure).

1. You need a doctor’s permission for the procedure if you have:

Diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases, epilepsy, cancer, blood clotting diseases, other pathological diseases.

Attention!  According to the European regulation, the specialist performing the procedure is obliged to inform the customer about possible risks that may appear:

• Allergic reactions, skin reactions (inflammations, edemas, redness, itching in the process of healing)
• Herpes virus provocation, while performing the procedure on the lips
• Keloid scars formation (if the pathological tendency exists)

If the specialist violates the rules of hygienic safety, following risks may appear:

• Local infections
• General infections – hepatitis (B,C), HIV

To select the most suitable technique, the artist takes many factors into account — from the density of your natural hairs to your personal style direction and desired intensity.

The hair stroke technique is suitable in the following cases:

• When natural brows are sparse and light
• In cases of alopecia (complete absence of eyebrows)
• For men’s permanent eyebrow makeup
• For mature/age-related eyebrow permanent makeup
• For the most natural-looking result
• For a sporty or romantic style direction
• For blondes and light brunettes

The shading (powder) technique is suitable in the following cases:

• When natural hair growth is relatively good
• For darker, denser eyebrows
• For a more decorative result (makeup-effect brows)
• For a more bold or extravagant style direction
• For brunettes

This delicate question is best discussed with a specialist before the procedure. The eyebrow shape should be selected individually, taking into account the face shape, color type, desired intensity, and even personality.
You shouldn’t focus on “template” eyebrows that are currently in fashion. The width of the eyebrows is chosen strictly individually, based on the delicacy of facial features. And yes — some people suit thin, elegant arched brows, while others look better with wide, straight ones.
During the consultation and immediately before the procedure, a sketch must be drawn and approved by the client, and this exact shape will later be recreated with permanent makeup. Of course, an experienced specialist can see your face and intuitively understand which eyebrow shape suits you best. A well-chosen shape harmonizes with facial features and creates a calm, balanced expression without excessive decorativeness or theatricality. Overly extravagant eyebrow shapes are best avoided in permanent makeup.
Remember: your face is unique. Your eyebrows are not a platform for fashion experiments. What looks great on someone else may not suit you at all. That’s why it’s important to choose a master with extensive and diverse experience.

The choice of pigment color for eyebrow permanent makeup should be based on your overall intensity — your hair color, skin tone, and the natural color of your eyebrow hairs. It is recommended to make the eyebrows a couple of shades lighter than the hair on your head (if you are a brunette or brown-haired), or no more than a couple of shades darker than your hair if you are blonde.
When using the hair-stroke technique, the color is selected as close as possible to the natural color of your eyebrow hairs.
In the case of the powder (shading) technique, the shade is chosen slightly lighter than your natural brows in order to create the effect of a soft shadow from naturally dense eyebrows.

This question cannot be answered definitively.
The longevity of the result depends on many factors:

• Skin type. On dry, thin, or mature skin, permanent makeup lasts longer than on oily, dense, or younger skin.
• Metabolic rate. With age, metabolic processes often slow down, which helps the pigment remain in the skin longer.
• Lifestyle (sports, physical activity, saunas). Any activities that increase blood pressure and circulation contribute to faster pigment fading.
• Sun exposure (or tanning beds). Ultraviolet radiation also accelerates pigment breakdown.
• Chemical composition of the pigment. Mineral pigments fade faster than organic ones — this is something you should clarify with your specialist.

We recommend refreshing the eyebrows no earlier than when noticeable lightening of the pigment appears. This may happen after one year or even after three years. Therefore, the exact time since the first procedure is not crucial — if the shape is still visible, our clients are always eligible for a special price on refresh treatments.

In this case, we will offer you several options for removing the old pigment. Most often, we use a neodymium Q-switch laser. Pigment removal with special removers is also possible. The number of sessions and the removal method are highly individual and depend on many factors.

In this case, it is essential to show your existing permanent makeup to a specialist before the procedure.
If you are satisfied with the shape and color and only want to refresh the shade, we will be happy to help you.
However, if we see that the current shape or color is not fully satisfying, we may suggest removing or lightening the previous pigment with a laser or a remover before refreshing the permanent makeup.
The same approach applies if, for example, you would like to switch to the hair-stroke technique, but your eyebrows are currently done using the powder technique.

Permanent eyebrow makeup heals within 5 to 10 days. In the first few hours after the procedure, the pigment begins to dry and the skin "closes." It is important to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, especially during the initial period. Avoid touching your eyebrows with dirty hands and prevent dust or dirt from getting on them.
During the first week, it is essential to follow the aftercare recommendations provided by your specialist. Different artists may give slightly different instructions.

PM LABORATORY recommendations:

• Dry care for one week. Avoid prolonged contact with water. Wash your face and hair carefully, and gently pat your eyebrows dry with a tissue or clean towel. The drier the eyebrow area, the better the pigment will settle, rather than flaking off with moisture.
• Avoid saunas, spas, and swimming pools. Avoid heavy sweating—consider postponing intense workouts or replacing them with lighter activities.
• Apply the healing cream provided by your specialist every morning for the first week. Use a very thin layer with a clean finger directly on the skin. Do not apply too much cream, as it can create a “sauna effect.” If your skin is very dry, you may also apply the cream in the evening. If you do not have the special cream, it is better not to use over-the-counter products such as Bepanthen or Vaseline and wait for dry healing.
• Around one week after the procedure, the thin protective layer will peel off. This is a very fine film that does not look like a crust and will not affect your appearance, so you can safely attend events or go to work. Avoid scratching, picking, or touching your eyebrows during this period.

It is always important to remember that the procedure with a longer-lasting result should be done first.
Therefore, it is reasonable to have permanent eyebrow makeup done first, and then, after about a month, you can receive Botox injections.
If you regularly get Botox, permanent makeup can be done one month after your last injection.

We would like to remind you about the principle of moderation in permanent makeup: less is more! The perfect lash-line enhancement (possibly with a slight shading and a small tail) suits everyone and never gets boring. It will not change shape after eyelid surgery and will not “break” with age-related changes.

Based on our experience, we can confidently say that permanent eye makeup with us is not painful. We use a multi-stage anesthesia process. But the most important factors that make the procedure tolerable are the expertise of the specialist and the quality of the equipment. Only an experienced artist can perform a complex eye procedure quickly, and the speed of the procedure affects your overall comfort.
The eye area often causes the most discomfort for clients. Psychologically, for many, it can seem intimidating or unpleasant. In such cases, you can have a calming tea or valerian. However, once the specialist begins the procedure, you will realize it is not scary at all and will comfortably go through it.

After an eye micropigmentation procedure, the following may occur:

• Slight redness
• Swelling
• Heavy eyelids due to anesthesia

Swelling can persist for several days after the procedure, especially in the mornings.
Peeling and complete healing usually take about one week. During this time:

• Do not apply eye makeup
• Avoid getting the area very wet
• If water or tears get on the eyes, gently pat the area dry with a tissue
• Do not touch the eyes with dirty hands

If peeling on the eyelashes is still present after a week, you can wash your eyes with water and gently comb the lashes with a make-up brush.

Permanent makeup is completely safe for the eyes and eyelashes. During the procedure, we use a special cream that protects the eyes from irritation.
However, there are significant risks if the eye procedure is performed by an inexperienced specialist:

• Risk of pigment migration (blurring) due to rough technique
• Risk of dry eye syndrome from incorrect pigment application
• Risk of eyelash loss from very deep work
• Risk of eye burn because of anaesthetic

A procedure performed by an experienced specialist is safe, painless, and the result will delight you for many years!

In addition to the standard health-related contraindications, special attention should be paid to the following:

• Blood-thinning medications: Consult a doctor before discontinuing them.
• Eyelash growth products: Stop using them one month before the procedure, as they affect blood vessel permeability and healing.
• Eyelash extensions: They must be removed before the procedure.

You will definitely discuss this question with your specialist during your consultation. The technique for lip permanent makeup primarily depends on your natural shape, natural tone, and the desired result.

In general, lip techniques differ in:

• Density: more intense coverage (lipstick effect) or light shading (tinted effect)
• Contour: defined edges or a soft, contour-free fill

Pigment shades range from cooler pinks to warm reddish-terracotta tones. Do not be afraid of intense colors—when applied correctly, they create a lip tint effect, giving your lips a fresh and juicy look. Lighter shades, on the other hand, can create a matte finish effect.
During the consultation, show your specialist your favorite lipsticks and glosses; this will help guide the choice of the right shade and technique. Keep in mind that color perception is subjective: we all perceive shades differently, and each pigment will appear slightly different on each client once healed.

Yes, and in fact, it is recommended! Cold sores often damage the natural contour and color of the lips.
If you are prone to herpes, make sure to obtain antiviral medication in advance, which your family doctor can prescribe. Therapy can be started one day before the procedure, taking 800 mg per day, and continued for the four days following the procedure.
If you have an active herpes outbreak, the procedure cannot be performed. After the herpes has healed, you should wait a few weeks before doing permanent makeup.

Compared to other areas, lips heal the fastest! It usually takes 3–5 days for a thin protective layer to peel off. In the first hours after the procedure, the pigment may appear quite bright, but the intensity fades within a few hours. Swelling is possible as an individual reaction to the trauma and typically subsides within a few hours after the procedure.
Your specialist will provide a special care cream, which should be applied every two hours in a thin layer. For the first few days after the procedure, it is important to be careful when eating salty, acidic or spicy foods. It is also recommended to brush your teeth with a dry toothbrush and minimal toothpaste, as foam can irritate the healing skin. Until the first protective layer peels off, avoid prolonged wetting or trauma to the lips (e.g., dental visits).
After the initial healing, lips may remain dry for several weeks. This is a normal reaction, and full skin recovery takes approximately 30–40 days. To reduce discomfort, you can use moisturizing balms.

Pay attention to the condition of your lips. If they are dry, it is very important to perform a gentle exfoliation one week before the procedure and start regularly moisturizing your lips (for example, with beeswax-based balms). For even healing and pigment retention, it is essential that your lips are free of injuries, cracks, and inflammation.

Micropigmentation can often solve aesthetic problems that medicine and cosmetology cannot fully address! The range of possibilities is very broad, and even now, new and interesting cases continue to appear for micropigmentation specialists.
Primarily, we cover atypical depigmented areas of the skin that are lighter than the surrounding skin, such as:

• White scars after plastic surgery or trauma
• Stretch marks or striae
• Post-traumatic white spots
• Vitiligo
• Areas of transplanted skin
• Post-burn scars

We cannot cover dark pigmentation areas with a light pigment, such as age spots, because the dark top layer of skin will show through as it heals, making the area dark again.
For the same reason, we cannot cover dark or red scars and stretch marks.
Keloid scars cannot be camouflaged either.
In any case, a consultation is required before the procedure, so that the specialist can assess the problem and offer a solution through micropigmentation or recommend an alternative approach.

If we are talking about scar camouflage, it can be performed one year after the event that caused the scar (surgery, trauma, burn, dermatosis, stretch marks, etc.). This time is necessary for the formation and stabilization of fibrous tissue.
Camouflage for vitiligo can only be done during the stabilization stage and with the approval of your treating physician.

There is no need to worry that the camouflaged area will turn white against tanned skin. On the contrary, the treated area is less noticeable against darker surrounding skin.
However, it is important to remember that ultraviolet (UV) light breaks down the pigment, causing it to fade, which may require a touch-up sooner. Therefore, we recommend using sunscreen while spending time in the sun.

There is no single answer to this question. The longevity of the results depends on the intensity of the pigment used, its chemical composition, and the area being treated. For example, in the facial area, a touch-up may be needed after about one year. However, with each touch-up, the pigment deposit in the skin increases, so subsequent updates will be required after a longer period.
Camouflage of body scars lasts longer, with a touch-up typically needed around two years later, provided the area is protected from the sun.

It is important to remember that camouflage micropigmentation should only be done after other skin correction techniques have been applied. First, you undergo various therapeutic and medical procedures with a dermatologist, and only after a month following the last treatment can camouflage be performed.

The most common methods for improving scar appearance are laser therapies:

• Fractional CO₂ lasers are used to improve the relief of raised scars.
• Vascular lasers are used for red scars, targeting and removing capillaries.
• A combination of both lasers is possible.

For very raised and textured scars, a doctor may use enzyme injections or surgical scar revision.
Remember, for a scar to form thin, white, and smooth, it is crucial to take proper care after surgery or trauma. This may include:

• Silicone patches
• Healing gels
• Enzyme therapy
• Microcurrent therapy
• Light therapy
• Microneedling therapy

The possibilities of medical micropigmentation are much broader than they may seem at first glance. Few people know that this procedure can correct even such aesthetic issues as syndactyly—fused fingers or toes. For example, if fused toes cannot be surgically separated, micropigmentation can visually create the effect of separated toes by carefully drawing a dark line between them.
Another application is nail plate simulation. If a nail is missing on a phalanx, regardless of the cause, an experienced specialist can restore its appearance using proper 3D drawing techniques.
After abdominal surgeries or in certain medical conditions, a patient may lack a navel. In such cases, micropigmentation allows for a natural visual reconstruction of the navel.
These procedures are no longer rare, and their results often significantly improve quality of life, both in daily activities and socially.

It is no secret that micropigmentation has long gone beyond simple permanent makeup. What a micropigmentation specialist can do often replaces the work of a makeup artist, doctor, or even a plastic surgeon. Thanks to high-precision, gentle equipment, specialized pigments, and new techniques, many things have become possible.
Dark circles (or under-eye bruising) can significantly affect daily life. Constantly covering them with concealers is tiring and time-consuming. Without concealer, you may look tired or even older than your actual age. The presence of dark circles can be related to genetic predisposition, hyperpigmentation, medical conditions, or simple fatigue. It is important to consult a doctor to determine the cause of the problem. To address the visible issue, the camouflage technique can help.
Under-eye camouflage is performed in several stages. A very light pigment, matched to the skin tone, is applied to the dark areas in several thin layers. After healing, the light pigment particles under the skin reflect light, making the dark pigmentation less noticeable.

You can sunbathe after the procedure, but we recommend using an eye cream with SPF. This will protect the upper layer of skin from darkening due to the sun, ensuring that the brightening effect of the pigment remains just as noticeable.

Procedure can take from one up to three hours, depending on the technique and the zone chosen.

In many European countries the micropigmentation procedure is equally serious as a medical operation, which means that in order to be able to legally perform it micropigmentation specialist should observe strict laws of hygiene and sanitation. Surely, customer that does not have an applicable education can not define whether all precautionary measures have been abided; nevertheless a customer can and should display some interest and observance.

• Obligatorily ask the specialist to show you the needles that will be used for the procedure of micropigmentation. They should be properly packed in a disposable sterile packing.
• It is desirable for pigment to be disposable too. In our country this rule does not apply yet, but is highly recommended.
• All objects that are being touched by the specialist while performing the procedure should be covered with a disposable plastic membrane (table, lamp, chair, the surface of the used equipment). Only these precautions will be able to help to observe the rule of “disposable” surface. Disinfecting liquid substances not always can fully secure the surface, as it is not allowed to apply them on the surface of equipment in use, all the more to keep them from 15 minutes up to one hour, as the rules require.
• Protective means are obligatory both for the specialist (gloves, mask, hat) and for the customer (hat, pelerine).
• After the procedure, specialist should utilize used needles to a special container.
• ATTENTION! Hygienically safe procedure CAN NOT BE PERFORMED AT HOME, due to the impossibility to observe all sanitary rules in premises with carpets, blankets, covers, plants and other similar objects.

If you have at least a slightest doubt about the matter of sterility and safety of the procedure, don’t be embarrassed to leave the salon immediately. Remember that your health is priceless.

The colors of the pigment will be selected according to your natural characteristics. Specialist will lead a color analysis and define your appearance type as well as the color intensity. Preference is given to inartificial palette, similar to the natural colors. All individual face features will be considered while applying the pattern. Pigments do not contain alcohol and are purely hypoallergenic.

Perhaps we might disappoint you, but it is high time to dispel this myth. NATURAL PIGMENTS FOR MICROPIGMENTATION DO NOT EXIST. In cosmetology, under the concept of “natural” it is meant that the pigment contains components of floral or animal origin. None of the legal European dye manufacturer uses components of floral or animal origin in the pigments for permanent make-up. It is forbidden by the European resolution adopted in 2003, in which all the requirements about the equipment and materials used for the permanent make-up are combined. Floral components can not be effective in dyes used for the procedure of micropigmentation, as they tend to cause allergic reactions and are quite unstable in terms of saturation and color homogeneity. In fact, pigment used for permanent make-up can be divided to organic (oxygen and nonmetal combination) and inorganic (oxygen and metal combinations). All these pigments are synthesized in laboratories and can not be natural by definition. Not at all does it mean that they are “bad”. On the contrary, these dyes are stable and do not cause allergic reactions.

There is no unique answer for this question, as pain perception is a very individual moment. In definite periods, the pain threshold may vary even for the same person. However, a qualified specialist will always try to minimize painful feelings, by introducing local anesthesia and maintaining it throughout the whole procedure. It is not recommended to rely on your own strength - managing to cope with pain and refuse to have anesthesia. This may lead to unpleasant consequences, when organism rapidly reacts on painful impact by producing a large edema – blood and lymph flow to the impact zone, which later on will provoke a long-term uncomfortable healing process.
